If you are looking for a unique look in hardwood wood flooring, you can select an exotic or hand-scraped hardwood floor. Most exotic hardwoods are very hard and are very durable.

Parquet

Unfortunately, the big box store's cheap parquets have given parquet flooring a less than favorable distinction. Good hardwood parquets add beautiful detail. Since they can be customized with wood and color, they bring personality to any living space.
